| Ohen Rick and Joanne Derr opened their Learning Express toy store in August 1996, it was the beginning of a new and rewarding life. Rick traded a high-pressure career as a globetrotting corporate executive with Dun & Bradstreet and A.C. Nielsen, for the whimsical world of toys. Owning and running their own toy store has allowed the family to reconnect with each other and with the community. Joanne and Rick have been working side-by-side in their store for eleven years, and they've never looked back. Life couldn't be better! Our products are toys! Each product is carefully evaluated and selected by our expert staff. Come on in and enter a world where you can play with toys before you purchase them! Hands-on fun! We believe that toys should be fun and that toys and games should foster developmental growth and encourage learning through play and creativity.
